(28 November) Today was a really fun day! I really felt like going shopping and there had been talk of maybe going to see the twilight movie so Sara, Toni and I decided to have a girly day shopping and then go to the cinema. Scott was heading into town to see the Swedish girls...I didn't really expect to see him back that evening haha :P. So the three of us went to the Golden Sands shopping mall, which had a cinema. (27 November) This morning i think I got out the wrong side of the bed because I was fairly grumpy haha. Just felt like I was ready to move on. Unfortunately Azlan told us that it would be really hard to go anywhere the next day because there was a public holiday, so Scott and I decided to hang around one more day then go to the Cameron highlands. The commotion in the night had been the swedish girls falling out with Azlan - I'm still not 100% sure what happen...

(26 November) This morning Scott, Toni, Sara and I got up early and went into Georgetown, the main bit of Penang! We got a bus and asked to be told when to get off for the "reclining Buddha" which was meant to be on the bus route...he ended up telling us to get off early, about an hour walk away! So we got a taxi, thinking that the bus must not go past it after all. The taxis were con artists...so sick of them refusing to use the meter because we are white! But...

(22 November) Today wasn't much better. I got up early for my half 7 bus and threw up all of my dinner from the night before, felt almost as bad as I had the first day! Think I must have got a second dose of food poisoning from the burger. Was in a minivan all day, an hour break in between vans before the border in Had Yai. Felt seriously ill all day but slept a lot and only ate about 5 pringles the whole day so I managed alright. Got into Penang around half 9 M...
