Today wasn't much better. I got up early for my half 7 bus and threw up all of my dinner from the night before, felt almost as bad as I had the first day! Think I must have got a second dose of food poisoning from the burger. Was in a minivan all day, an hour break in between vans before the border in Had Yai. Felt seriously ill all day but slept a lot and only ate about 5 pringles the whole day so I managed alright. Got into Penang around half 9 Malaysia time and was dropped in the middle of Chinatown, and then realised that I hadn't even thought to look where the hostel was, never mind get an address! Luckily there was a nice lady on the bus doing a border run from Ko Lanta, and she brought me to a guesthouse where the owner let me use his computer to find it, then told me how to get there, and even changed my Thai Baht for me so that I had some money!

I was in Georgetown and had to get a bus to Batu Ferringhi. I was still feeling awful, and the bus took about 45 mins, but everyone was very friendly and I got off the bus and locals gave me directions. My first impressions of Lazyboys hostel were a bit weird. It was all dark, no signs of life except an American guy sitting on a laptop and a Malaysian who showed me to a tiny room with 3 beds in it. I was just happy to crawl into bed and pass out, and see what happened in the morning!
