The boat set off early this morning. We got up around 9 to go on deck and have a look at the scenery and the first gorge. It wad nice but still a bit misty and rainy which is a pity! Then we played cards for a bit in the common room place while looking outside. We boarded at a town around 12 and went and had a big (really yummy!) lunch, then kimberly and I went to an Internet cafe and booked our hostel for Hong kong, which will hopefully be nice! fairly cheap but should be clean and safe :). Then back to the boat to move off down the river again, and I spent a couple of hours catching up on this blog!

The main thing so far about this bit if the trip has been the complete different types of towns and people we are encountering!
