The statue of Hercules on the hill is the focal point from the chateau and if you have good eyes you can see it from there. I walked to it to get a feeling of what the builders wanted to achieve and it was worth it. The chateau and gardens are an amazing achievement and 350 years on still enough to take your breath away. An absolute marvel of design and engineering by masters of their trade.
