Friday 23rd July
LISBON > SEVILLE - Cool to HOT

Today was mainly on the bus. Arrived back into Spain - Seville for 2 nights. After a nana nap, Michael, Peter, Cass & I headed to Plaza de la Alfalfa and did a tapas crawl around the square stopping at each tapas bar and having 2 tapas and sangria at each. After a few too many Sangrias we jumped in a taxi to take us to a 'Disco'. We ended up on the other side of the river with 2 clubs to choose from. First one we got denied entry cos we were too casual but we got into the 2nd which was very trendy.. kinda Bali theme.. but spanish! I felt very underdressed, the girls were very dolled up and the guys were very spanish metro with tigh shirts unbuttoned a few. We drank and danced the night away into the wee hours of the morning. A mixture of engligh and spanish music and we were the only ones to brave the dance floor for a while! Definately looked like the tourists! Throughout the night they served free ice cream and chocolate mousse.. a little random for a night club!

Saturday 24th July
SEVILLE and HOT!

Hungover. Made it to buffet breakfast and then headed to the shops with Adele and Cass but feeling s*** i just stood in the corner and felt sorry for myself! After lunch i got better and we headed to check out Plaza de Espana. It's a semicercile of azulcjo (ceramic tile) clad buildings. Unfortunately the middle section and canal were being renovated but the ceramics on the buildings were amazzzing! Glad we made the visit. Then we took a stroll along the river but it was the 'untouristy' part of the river so quite boring. Walked past the cathedral and Alcaza (Muslim fortress in past) which just looked like more city inside walls. AFter lunch hit the shops again - Good shopping in Seville!. Dinner was included with the tour so back to the hotel for a quiet early night.
