We are at the Tuileries garden where the Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel is located. Napleon had this triumphant Arc built to commemorate his military victories between 1806 - 1808, so much history! We walked around the grounds at Louvres and from there along the cobblestone walkways on the Seine river, very nice walk away from the tourist areas. Back up to the Main Street and at the Pont des Arts and there are the love-locks on the fences/gates. The sweathearts names/initials are inscribed on the padlock and the key thrown away to symbolize unbreakable love.
