Pont d"iena is the bridge spanning the Seine River linking the Eiffel Tower on the Left Bank to the district of Trocadero on the Right Bank. Napoleon, in 1807 issued the construction of the bridge after his victory in 1806 at the Battle of Jena. The structure was designed with 5 arches, each with an arc lenghth of 28 meters and four intermediate piers. Put in place in 1853 on the two ends of the bridge, are four sculptures sitting on top of four corresponding pylons: a Gallic warrior and a Roman Warrior by the Right Bank, an Arab Warrio and a Greek Warrior by the Left Bank.
