Hey, I apologize to all of my loyal fans for being so lazy with my journal entries. I've been very busy. Since my last journal entry 2 weeks ago, I have been to Krakow, Poland, and Vienna, Austria. Both were amazing places in their own ways. I'll start off with Poland. Poland was one of the most fun weekends of my life. I thought I wouldn't like it as much as Prague, but I loved it everything about it was great. We had a great time and have some hilarious stories, most are too inappropriate to write here. The nightlife was crazy there and the women were gorgeous. I went to Wawel Castle which was very cool. We also went to the worlds largest salt mines, which were kind of a tourist trap but still alrite. They were filled with statues made out of salt. The food in Poland was amazing. Perogis might be my new favorite food, and there were Gyros stands on every corner. On sunday I went to Auscwitz, which was an experience. I'm not gonna dwell on it too much, because the things I saw and learned there don't need to be said, everyone knows of the horrors that went on there. Poland also had the biggest main square in Europe. All in all Krakow was a great city, the locals were much more friendly to Americans than in other places, and we all had an amazing weekend. Vienna was a completely different experience, but great in a different way. Krakow was beautiful, but more fun because of the nightlife than anything else. Vienna was one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. It was absolutely gorgeous. The art was amazing. While there I went to several art museums, including a traveling Marc Chagall exhibit, which was incredible and had over 60 of his pieces. I liked the art so much in Vienna, that I bought a Peter Paul Ruebens print. Besides the art museums there was tons of other cool stuff about the city. The city had the worlds biggest flea market on Saturdays, which was quite the cultural experience. It was crazy walking through it and seeing old swords and other European antiques. Another great thing was the Hapsburg palaces. I went to 2 of them, their summer palace and their winter palace. Both were incredible, I didn't get to go inside the summer palace but the outside was amazing. The nightlife in Vienna wasn't very good, but that wasn't a big deal to me. One of my favorite things about the city was the tap water. The tap water was better than most bottled water. Its tapped from the alps and so good. I tried Weinerschnitzel, but it wasn't what I thought it would be. I was expecting a big sausage, but all it is, is a gigantic chicken tender. It was a great trip and I want to go back when mom and dad visit. Next weekend I think I am going to stay in Prague and after that I'm probably going to go to Munich or Budapest. Ciao
