After Graceland we go to our hotel which we are staying in for 2 night.. A hotel !! Not a hostel!!! :) Big night out planned on Beale Street, just a row of bars! After some real southern chicken we head out. Live blues bands - better than I ever expected! Smoking in doors as well! Then a free day in Memphis, beautiful city, never expected this! The real deal diners as well like on the movies! Great!

Memphis was so quite during the day literally not a person in sight! Beale street is always busy though! We got tickets for the basket ball game which was so good! Proper American as you can imagine! Leaving Memphis on a coldish morning after a 8h drive we arrive in New Orleans to sun and blue skies! :)

You can hear people's accents change the further south you get. Everything you see on films (gas stations, rest rooms, bars) is exactly how it is!! Been to broadway which is the main country and western street of bars, really weird seeing people on their nights out dancing to country bands!! And line dancing which I participated in ;) a nice change to the norm! Wasn't so great at it after a couple of drinks though, kinda did my own thing!!! Stayed in a funny lil ...

After leaving the rain in Nashville we were welcomed to Memphis with sunshine and a lovely sunset! A bit rough from the night before! Graceland is such a nice place no wonder Elvis loved it so much! The tour of his home and grounds was amazing ...
