Here we are at last. Almost fully functional on the tech front - time will tell if you receive this message. Are you impressed?
Have read your blog for the first time today. Everything sounds wonderful except for the trains - almost as bad as Britsh Rail. The food sounds VERY INTERESTING! Hope you are getting plenty of greens Damian especially sprouts - well beansprouts I suppose.
Very daring of you both to go hot air ballooning - we're sure it was a great experience. Enjoy the next stage of your journey.
Speak to you again soon.
Love to you both

Mrs Webb's Class
Hello Mrs Dunkley!
We have just read your blog with Mrs MacDonald and she is now sending you this message. We did not fancy having to choose an animal or fish to be our dinner! We are all wondering what you chose for your dinner that evening?Libby says you are having a really good time! We all wish we could see the Pandas playing together and wrestling together.
We all hope you are having a wonderful time.
We didn't fancy the long train journey through the night in a grubby compartment though.
Mrs MacDonald says you are very adventurous trying all the food -she didn't eat any of it when she was in Hong Kong.
We are looking forward to your next adventure.
Love Mrs Webb's class

Hi Kate and Damian
We are loving your blog. And Abi is loving putting sticky spots on the map as we follow you round the world. When my back was turned she used the remaining sticky spots to cover herself (head to toe) and getting them off was quite hard work at bathtime!
Your trip sounds amazing, and we are learning a lot! We are googling the places so we can see the kind of things you are seeing - we are very jealous. Can't wait for the next installment.
Lots of love Claire, Nick, Abi and Ted x
Adi, Stu And Eric Too
Hey Kate and Damian
Great to read about China. Get those photos of the pandas up, I bet they were very cute.
All good in Manchester. I'm back at work now and all seems to be ok, we've had to put Eric into a local nursery and I have to restrain myself from showing everyone pictures of him every 5 minutes.
Wedding plans are almost there and Stu is counting down the days - I'm not sure whether he's more excited about the wedding or diving with sharks!!
Bye for now. Keep us posted and look forward to seeing you both soon.
Love Adi, Stu and Eric too xx
P.S. Referring to a previous blog Manchester is not gloomy just a bit grey sometimes!
Joe
Hi!
China seems pretty awesome, you actually went in a hot air balloon, wicked! I am really looking forward to your next blog entry. Also, where are you going next?
Things are good over here as well we're moving in five days! And I've just come back from a residental at Robinwood. The residental was brilliant my favourite activity was caving, we got to wear head torches and we played hide and seek, it was really fun.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon!

Message from Sophie
Hi! China sounds really good! Hot air ballooning sounds very, very fun and I wish I had done it. Can you tell me about the pandas because they sound quite cute?
Oh yes! I nearly forgot. We are moving to near Tadcaster and we have sent you a message in the post with our new address. We are moving on Friday!!!!! It is going to be so cool. When we visited the new house today, me and Joe went on a walk while mum and dad were in the house and me and Joe petted the horses.
It's quite hard work sorting out the house to move and I'm getting very tired.
At gymnastics there was a bar that we had to swing on with wrist straps. Mine were too loose and I went flying off it and hurt my wrist very badly. It's much better now though luckily.

Mum & Dad J
Hello
Not quite sure my (Mum) maths skills are up to solving the sum before each message! Really does test my senior moments.
As you can see we're back from our week in Northumberland, which was good. The weather was kind - cold and dry with sunny intervals. Certainly not as hot as your part of the world. Alwick Castle gardens were great and the coastline wonderful. Bought kippers at Crastor which we've had for breakfast this morning - lovely. Pleased we didn't have to use chopsticks though or we'd still be trying to get them to our mouths.
You're certainly experiencing the trip of a lifetime. Never thought you'd go up in a ballon, Kate. Seeing the Terracotta Army and the mountains are on my list of things to do. You've only just started your trip and will have so many memories stored up - will your brains be able to take in much more.
Funny how beer seems to feature in various things, Damian!
Look forward to your next blog.
Lots of love Mum & Dad J xx

Sounds like you're having a fab time. I bet the train journeys were good. I supposse you have to have an open mind sometimes when it comes to eating food abroad. Have you tried any local delicacies?
Enjoy your boat journey. x

Lo you pair. Looking good. A severe lack of photies though! get uploading some pics.
P.S. Went shopping yesterday with Mum and Dad to get them a laptop and I spent about 4 hours today setting up their home wireless network, wireless printer and all sorts of stuff. They are almost out teching me now!
Have sent them the details of this blog, so let's see if they can work it out.

Hello There
Sounds great so far, you've already been to my dream destination and it sounds great, (maybe one day!). Missing you at school, it seemed strange without you that first week and there was a gap in the hall without you at keep fit last night. I had to move up next to Derrick.
