Jambo, as they say in Tanzania. Marika thinks all the natives are called Jambo!
Just thought we would let you know that it's now hailstoning. It seems we're having all the seasons in one day.

Hello
Funnily enough we were only speaking to someone recently about Doyle's and he was saying how good it was. We didn't get to visit it when we were there - next time!
Fiji sounds and looks idylic, despite the accommodation mix-up. At least you won't forget it. What a lovely way to get married - so relaxed. Loved the photo of you drinking from a coconut - non-alcoholic of course!
Animals seem to be a recurring theme during your trip. Wonder what you'll come across in New Zealand, sheep perhaps? We went to a place called The Hidden Valley of Orakei Korako, north of Lake Taupo, which was accessed by a boat and, we thought, different from the usual tourist geyser sites and really good. It's about 25 mins drive north on Hamilton highway (route 1) off a side road to the right. You'll probably find some information about it on one of your stops.
We've just about recovered from our trip to Tanzania. It's lovely to be back to a cooler climate, albeit 20 degrees cooler!
Lots of love M & D J xx

Dear Dunkleys,
Great to hear that everything is going so fantastically well.
Of all the stories of fascinating sights and exotic destinations, the picture of you both bouncing down an Australian dirt-track for 25km in a tiny Nissan, fearing death by a grouchy kangaroo, is a winner every time. Kate - surely you didn't put aside the benefit of nearly 20 years' experience and allow Damian to navigate. If so, I expect a firm slap to the forehead was administered.
All well here - though it'd be a lot better if someone would come round and do the decorating for us and empty the last 1,001 storage boxes!
Take care and keep us posted!

Talking of Pandas, I had Panda Pie for lunch yesterday, emm, very nice.
Hope you both had great birthdays. So jealous you're in Fiji, my dream destination. What beer do they sell? Although I'm sure a trip to Luddendendundenfort at Christmas will suffice for now. I hear Luddendendunenfort beach is one of the nicest beaches in all of Luddendenneedunnfort.
You sound like you're really enjoying your travels, it all sounds amazing.
Looking forward to seeing you both at Christmas but please don't show me your white bits.

Reporting in after our visit to Chester. Very nice hotel - lovley spa, swimming pool and three golf courses. Just up your street Damian but we only went on the driving range. Mum not as good as she thought she was at Dan and Soo's wedding unfortunately! Can see why golfers get very frustrated. Soo and I had a wonderful spa experience on the Saturday morning - very relaxing. Enjoyed the few days away as you can imagine.
Completing on Grandad's house on Monday and taking Aunty M to hospital again on Wednesday. Will call to check that everything is ok at the apartment.
Enjoy the rest of your time in Oz - look forward to hearing from you soon.
Love to you both

Managed to get into your Blog - albeit a little slowly from Tanzania. Sounds as though you had a trial run for driving over here. Our clothes and hair seem to be permenantly (we've just had a discussion how to spell this word but haven't come to a conclusion as yet - dust on the brain also) orange from the volcanic dust!
Lovely for you to go "native". We always think it's the best way to enjoy a place.
Will try to access your blog again soon.
Love from everyone over here.

Hello down under!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO KATE for the 12th - have a good one.
Super photos, especially the pandas and the warriors. Hope you are still enjoying your travels.
We are off to Chester with Daniel and Sue next Thursday till Monday. Looking forward to the break as you can well imagine after the traumas of the past few months. Have also booked a week away in Bahia Blanca from 7th - 14th December .
Cleared Grandad's house last Wednesday as things are now nearing completion. We have had a little hitch with the solicitor as he has gone out of business (sign of the times) but everything has now been passed on to another one. Nothing runs smoothly as you well know.
Looking forward to your next blog.
Lots of love

KATE, HAPPY BIRTHDAY for the 12th in case we cannot get online Monday in Tanzania - whose 38 then? We're off tomorrow (11th).
Always knew you'd make a great warrior, Damian!
Great photos but we thought Pandas were endangered so is it the same one every time!?
Enjoy the rest of OZ, you'll be in Fiji when we get back home on the 28th so enjoy the wedding - you'll be glad of a rest and no doubt the consumption of alcohol will help!
Lots of love Mum & Dad J xx
