Visited St. Augustine today. Took the hop-on hop-off train tour which gave us a good overview of America's oldest city. It was a little cool in the morning (50's) riding the open air train. There was a couple in front of us with just shorts and tee shirts on. They were freezing and she told her husband that they were getting off on the next stop no matter what it was! We have been here at NASJAX for 1 week. Now that all of the repairs have been completed on the 5th wheel we are starting to explore the Navy base. There is a Navy Seabees squadron here, I've attached a few pictures. Most of the base is right on the St. John's river. It's quite scenic! Well we arrived at NASJAX (Naval Air Station Jacksonville) around 8:00pm last night. We got off to a late start due some electrical issues with the 5th wheel. We got part of the problem fixed today but it looks like we will have to take it in to be serviced on Monday. It's a pain but on the brighter side it's still under warranty. We have pretty much sold, given away or stored all of our belongings that are not going in the 5th wheel with us. Its amazing how much stuff that you can accumulate in 31 years. Kirby is getting more and more nervous every day; worrying if he is going to get left behind. He keeps putting his toys in the boxes that we are packing. Of course we would not leave him behind! Only one or two loads left to take to the storage locker and we will be done. Can't wait...
