Well everyone - I've arrived in Fiji!! Had to leave LA at 9.00pm Sat night and arrived in Fiji local time 6.00am Mon morning - what a nightmare journey! Nearly missed my flight from LAX cos it was so busy - had to queue for 90 mins just to check then had to get security to get me to the front of all the security queues! I even had to run to the departure gate whcih was not too much fun! Had to sit next to a really smelly asian woman who kept talking to me in whatever language she spoke - not ideal. I miss LA and everyone there already! We all went for a gorgeous meal at an Italian restaurant at the Farmers Market on my last night and sat outdoors and watched the massive fountain displays! And there was the cutest little puppies which we were playing with! Then we went to the place called the Cheesecake Factory and I'm not kidding the cheesecake was about as big as my head! Spent my last day at Santa Monica beach with Francesca a scottish girl i made really good friends with and we were both asleep sunbathing when a massive wave came right up the beach a nearly dragged us out! Had to get the bus back with wet clothes and wet towels which weren't ideal! And Fran got pooed on by a seagull! I'm definately going back to LA next summer - but def when I can hire a car cos the city is so HUGE!! The weather was amazing and the people were wicked - stayed at orbit hostel and it was a great place always loads of parties! Spent my whole time sunbathing all day and drinking all night! Rapidly running out of money though - America wasnt as expensive as i thought it would be but the shops are just amazing so I've spent about two thirds of my budget! Only got 1000 pound left to last another 6 weeks - plus havent booked any accommodation after my first 2 nights in Fiji so got that to fork out for too! (HINT HINT parents if you're reading) Fiji seems pretty good - saw an amazing sunrise on the way to the resort this morning and also a spider about as big as my hand. I've managed to leave my teddy in LA and I cried on the plane when I realised I'd lost him - hopefully they'll find him though fingers crossed!!! The resort im at in Fiji seems pretty good, got two pools, restaurant, bars and spa - weather is warm but cloudy - booo!! I hope I wont lose my tan! Anyway - peace out kids x x x
