Sun is shining this morning now we are leaving!!! Going to airport at 11.30am should be home lunchtimeish tomorrow. Taxi picked us up to take us to Memphis Airport for our flight to Chicago. All goes well and we are soon on plane. Just one and half hour flight. Small plane with lots of shaking and knocking we survived though and were soon landing in Chicago. Straightforward at Chicago (Very busy airport). 6 .10 pm finds us boarding Jumbo British airways plane to Heathrow. Tiring flight with time changes but goes quite quickly as have good videos to watch, we watched two each including Paddington Bear which was the sweetest and funnyest film I have seen for a long time. Arrived at Heathrow at 7.30am. Alan's flight was delayed so we waited until 1130am for him to arrive. We had breakfast while we were waiting was a job to stay awake ! We eventually all piled into the taxi and made our way home tired but very happy after a fantastic American adventure that we will never forget.
