Aurélie, Alex and I got a pre-packed breakfast bag since we dared to go see the whales today. There is a 75%chance at this time of the year to see humpbackwhales in the Uvita bay. They come here to give birth and to mate.
We embarqued from the beach into a small boat - smaller than a whale thats for sure and drove about an hour along the coast before we spotted the first mother whale with a 2 week old calf. This was another goosebump event in my life... seeing ...
