We made it into Arles - a beautiful quaint little French town. We wandered around the city - stopped off for a refreshing drink at a place called the Wallabeer (full of Australian iconic items - yet only locals drinking in there! Quite bizarre). We then walked to a local shopping centre as the power adapter had been left behind in Spain. Low and behold one could not be found! Mr D (aka MacGyver) decided to buy a European plug and set out to convert the power board.... he did well - there was no smoke or fire created!
We then went back to our hotel and made a nice salad for dinner and played Uno outside till 10pmish.
The following day we set out to have a look around the city - there was an amphitheatre that was created in 581 BC, there was also a bullring (they don't kill the bulls at their fights though).
The highlight of the day though was returning to the Wallabeer cafe to have lunch and watch the tour de France go by! Chris was a very happy chap! There was so much advertising that went past first - it was quite unbelieable.
The next day was the drive to Italy!
