We set off relatively early to get to Angers leaving Paris at 6.15am. The drive took approx 2.5 hours via the Autoroute.
The scenery along the way was quite beautiful - there were fields of lush green grass and sunflowers! Pictures postcards are made of.
After checking into our accomodation we set off on our journey of the city centre. There was a beautiful castle on the left as you made your way up the hill. We stopped off at yet another bar to have a beer, we then got as far as the next shop where we had coffee!
As we strolled down some of the streets we stumbled upon a market - it must've gone for a few km's. It appeared that all the locals were out and about. It seemed as though we were the only tourists.
We went out to a lovely little brasserie for dinner and headed back to our room at around 10.45pm - all in all it was a lovely day!
