Visited the oldest mosque built in 700 then in 1236 it was transformed into a cathedral by adding bells to the tower and building an altar in the middle of the mosque. Simple. This building covers 2 football fields in size so it's massive. The pillars are still the same ones carved out of various rock and some were made of alabaster with rock. Pillars, double arches, and wooden ceilings are the main component of this building.
We also walked through the old Jewish quarter and visited the oldest synagogue. Amazing to think that the Moors, Christians and Jews all lived in harmony for years.
Lunch was ceviche and paella with ice cold beer of course. Not sure that I've ever drank so much water. Goes in and I'm sweating it out by the bucket. Don't need to go to the Spa.
