Decided to dedicate the day to some good ol retail therapy. Rather than cabbing it, we decide to check out public transit options as the large shopping centres were not very far, and on a major bus route. Our concierge gave us the lowdown and recommended we take the Metro. For $3.50 we hopped the bus just down from our hotel - piece of cake. None of us had taken a bus for a very long time. Another action packed day! Tour numero un - started with a bus tour to Montmorency falls - A large waterfall on the Montmorency River. Cable car ride up to the top, suspension bridge over the crest of the falls, and a perilous staircase to the bottom. Delicious breakfast at the hotel - fresh fruit and croissants. Off to tourist information to get our bus tickets. Purchased 2 day tour package including hop on hop off, river cruise on the St Lawrence, and Montmorceny falls will keep us busy for the next few days. Smooth travels from Winnipeg to Quebec - all flights on time - luggage came with us. One wrinkle was a very chatty and "overly" friendly gentleman that sat beside me on plane from Wpg to Toronto.
