Our final scheduled stop for the day on a very busy day touring Samarkand was back to the Kazret Khyzr Mosque opposite the Bibi Khanum complex. I didnt see the point of visiting as I'd taken a zoom pic from when we were at Bibi Khanum and didnt expect to see anything special in "just another Mosque".

What was interesting though was the outer terrace with panorama views looking back over the mountains and Bibi Khanum complex. This is a good place to come at high elevation, along with the Uleg Beg observatory to get some good landscape shots.

They charged us admission so I asked why since I was Muslim as some countries will allow free admission to worshipers and only charge the tourists. They said we had to pay anyway, maybe because it was a historical site to pay for the upkeep.

Officially my tour was over for today. I now had until noon tomorrow as freetime to explore Samarkand this evening and tomorrow morning on my own
