The next museum and probably the most famous on the island is the Vasa ship museum. This is a raised galleon style ship similar to the Tudor Mary Rose ship that was raised in the early 80s in England.I have no idea why I didnt come here on my last trip. First of the Djurgarden Island museums was the Nordiska Museet which was a Swedish culture museum. The exterior itself was quite impressive and modelled on some of the Danish Castles.The theme was the Swedish home.
