Ciao, ciao Italy! Last stop was Venice ! What a cute little city! I unfortunately got pretty sick. Maybe between the scorching heat and the air condition might not have helped the situation.
We went on our first gondola ride! That was super fun! We treated it like a our version of the booze cruise. Sooo much more fun with a bottle of Berlini. We had a really fun time waving to everyone (well I waved the most) chee! We made friends with a really cute couple from Arkansas. We were on different boats but it had to be the Americans having the most fun! The gondolier in the other boat looked sort of like Beckham and he caught me takin pictures of him.
Things I've learned in Italy.
1. Rome is a crazy place! If I ever go back it will be mostly to visit Vatican city.
2. When in Rome do what Romans do and that's challenge cars at the cross walk or you'll never cross the street.
3. Florence has really good food! That's a fun place to kick back and relax.
4. Do a wine tour in Florence ! Very informative, I really am not a wine person but it was fun listening to the tour guides with their thick Italian accents.
5. If you get really excited(like I do) and give your tour guide s high five they might look at you strangely.
6. Venice has no cars! That's pretty cool! They also have an insane religious celebration that we missed by one day!
8. Buy a bottle of Berlini for the gondola ride, it's way more fun that way.
9. 212 by Azealia Banks somehow became the theme music of our trip together.
10. Postcards are really fun to write, but finding stamps is a little more difficult. So I've decided that I'll just send my Italy postcards in Spain or wherever I end up buying postcards.
11. It would be nice if I spoke Italian. Maybe when I relearn Spanish that will be next on my list
