Under the Tuscan sun!

I love Florence! It's beautiful and the people were really friendly. The food was delicious. We ate at a little restaurant called trattario il porcipino. The food and the service was amazing! I think I gained about ten pounds eating here. the wait staff were really funny and what I expected Italian service to be:) plus they don't work for tips, which makes the service even more genuine. We were definitely repeat offenders with this restaurant.

We also went on a the chianti wine tour. I tried my first taste of red wine. I've decided that I'm really not a wine girl. More of a beer girl. The social aspect of wine an wine tasting was really cool because I never knew how much effort it took to make wine. That was pretty interesting , also I didn't realize how much the government was involved in the wine making process. Now I know how to look for genuine Italian wine.

We took a day trip to Pisa to see the leaning tower of Pisa. That was pretty interesting. Maybe, because we did so many other things on this trip I wasn't really that excited. It was fun saying " I'm going to pisa and I'm going to eat a pizza in Pisa while looking at the leaning tower of Pisa " lol! I found that really funny... Maybe I'll put that on a shirt.

Now we are off to Venice! The sinking city and I caught a cold :(
