My adventure today was to find that hill that's alive with the sound music. I made it to this really cute little town where it was filmed and all I have to say is " I know why they chose it!" the mountain ranges and little hills are beautiful! Oh my goodness!
I almost missed my stop as I don't understand German one bit. Lol! I asked my neighbor and she didn't understand me nor me her. Lol! Pictures say a thousand words! It's funny because I could read Spanish, Italian, and French , but German has way too many letters to make any sense.
I of course got lost in this one road town, but the people here are really helpful and friendly. After about an hour or wandering around I finally found The road I was looking for. Yay! Uphill battle! Lol!
Well, i was probably about 1/4 there and what happen?... A thunder/lightning storm happens:( its ok that I wasn't able to make my journey to the "hill" but I got to see how cute this little town is and also I discovered day trips! Now I'm hooked!
Don't cry for me either because I got to see the picturesque view that one miss Julie Andrews was singing too. I would sing too because this place is so green and when the rain started falling it smelled like heaven. Flowers everywhere ! It's really refreshing here.
Thank you random Austrian man with his cute German Shepard dog that spoke no English but pointed me to the right direction.
It's now pouring like there's no tomorrow and I'm chilling at the bus stop watching and hearing this cool storm . Now all I need to do is not space out. Theres a cute Swedish family with me at the bus stop and the young girl is blasting booty music out of her phone! Lol! Jamming out, totally oblivious are her parents. I love it!
Well laters!
