Dela Down Under
To get to Koh Samui we went on a boat for about two hours, it was pretty awesome because you could venture upstairs and just sit on the decking...we kept wondering what was under the boat! (maybe a friendly shark or even anaconda!!) We finally arrived at our resort (Calm Beach) and knowing that we had paid for a room with just a fan we thought we'd be ok! Again had another shocker, it was horrible. We had no water, a few friendly house guests aka lizards and lots of holes in the roof where you know at night time a cheeky little spider or maybe even a snake might make an appearance. Great fun! Really? We then headed straight down to reception and chirpsed up the english speaking thai worker for an upgrade to an air conditioned room. Worked a treat, ended up in a better room with no mysterious holes. We then spent the rest of the afternoon catching some rays on the beach. The beach is pretty quiet here, and we were told the best place to be in the evening for a bit of a nightlife was Chaneng beach. Our faces lit up after we got told that! We all got cleaned and dressed up and the three boys on tour were off out again! Once in Chaneng we went to a bar which was showing 2 live footy matches (Chelsea v Pompey and Everton V Shef United). Milsy being a Blades fan was in his element...until the result! Oh yeah while im on the whole football thing...go on the spurs!! Two great results since i've been away. Maybe I should stay away for good lol! After the football and a few more bars we went to the black moon party on the beach. It was amazing, it was so big but I did see a few ladyboys there! But im sure my mate Rich (or Winker to those who know the young lad) would have been chirpsing them up! Go on winker lol. It was a great night, met lots of different people and was a bit different to a usual night up ballare. We met a thai girl named doi (if thats how you spell it) who helped me and roomy out big time by getting us back to our resort. We ended up getting on the back of some scooters (they were official taxis...so dont worry Mum and Dad) By the time I got off I wanted to go again! But by then it was 6am so sleep was needed! Great day
