David and Elise's European Journey
SUCCESS! We made it to our hostel safe and sound. The flight was very smooth. We arrived at 11:30 at night and it was still nice and bright outside. Sun and moon up at the same time. We are calling it "perpetual dawn." It is now 2:45 am and we are still WIDE awake. We successfuly hunted down food- bacon wrapped hot dogs! You know how much we love bacon as a family so we are stoked to have that as our first meal. Going to attempt to fall asleep in full light. The keyboard is different here <öæ þ fun Icelandic characters. So Iḿ certain to make some mistakes.
We love you all!

Andrew "Big Tex Mex" Garcia Team D'elise, I am very excited about your journey. Take lots of pictures and try to post often but most importantly HAVE FUN and make great memories.
Mary Can't wait to hear more about Iceland and those hot springs you were talking about! Heather wasn't fooled when you left, she returned to "Teddy's room" and watched the door for 2 hours. She is snuggling in bed with me at night. We know she is a hog but I figured out that she's cold because of the ac so I put a blanket over her and she tends to stay more in one place. Rabbie wraps himself around Heather, very sweet. I'm so excited for you both as you introduce yourselves to more of the world:)
Dad D What the hockey puck is that boat like thing?? The long days must effect the engineers . . . Love you both.
Mom Glad to hear you made it safely! Enjoy every bit of your time! Love M&P
