Mary You will love Edinburgh Castle. Check out Greyfriar's Church where the statue of "Bobby" sits in front. We told you the story about Greyfriar's Bobby didn't we? Loyal dog story, Bobby spent 14 years guarding his master's grave. Check out the cemetery, there is a stone that honors the little Skye Terrier.

re: Edinburgh, UKSandra While you were watching Macbeth at the Globe, I was watching The Bachelorette at the Hotel...both are on about the same scale I think. But just in case London doesn't provide gossip on stupid American shows, I'll fill you in on one juicy detail: The Wrestler was using the show to further his career - surprise surprise - and has 2 girlfriends on the side, one of which he promised to marry once he abruptly quits the show after he makes it to the top 3. Needless to say, you will no longer be able to see his antics.
re: London, UKmom and Sandra We actually saw a little piece of England right here in Richmond - we toured a Tudor Manor that was built in Lancaster, England 500 years ago, taken apart and shipped to VA in the early 1900's and reconstructed! We thought of you as we were touring it. Have fun at Stone henge!
re: Bath, UKAmanda Happy 3rd Anniversary! I have heard the Blue Lagoon is beautiful - so cool that you guys got to see it!

re: London, UKMavis Elise & David, you were right about being bored at the office ;) The trip sounds awesome already. I am so jealous (but happy for you). All this travel in my opinion can get pretty addictive and I have a feeling you are already planning your next trip in your minds. Glad to know you got to experience the world cup in a football (yes, that's what it's called) loving nation. I hope you get to try some curry (british version of it) while you are in London. Love, Mavis
