Ok, this time ain't gonna be no novella - very tired with a bit of a tummy bug so bed is calling.

When last i wrote, i was still in Sihanoukville - soaking in the tropical paradise. I took a day trip out along a river into the ocean and dropped off on a secluded beach - paradise - from there it was a quick jungle trek back to the river and an amazing bbq lunch over the water.

On the way back to Phnom Penh, people in the group started to fall ill - nothing major but cramped their holidays! After a hectic and hilarious cyclo tour of the city, we perched on a rooftop bar, looking down at the sprawl and chaos below.
Wed
With a trip out to the S21 tourture camp and the killing fields hanging heavy from our morning excursion I decided to try to recover with a Khmer massage from a blind local - lots of deep tissue and folding - good ouchy!

We left Phnom Penh early for Ho Chi Minh - a crazy busy city with real Parisian charm - Notre Dame and all!!
Our last night as a group, we went out to a fantastic street restaurant where I had an incredible seafood claypot for $5 - the prawns were the size of a banana and to good to be true! Until the bill came - $5 per prawn!! ouch! to top it off, it's given me a bit of a sicky stomach - had to happen!!
Fri
Finding some cheap flights to Hanoi, I decided to tag along with Rachel & Laura from my tour and explore further afield - Hanoi is just as crazy but a lake right in the middle gives respite! First time I've felt cold all trip tho!!
Tomorrow we're heading out to Halong Bay for 2 nights so email will not be an option! After that, back to Ho Chi for a couple of nights then home!! whirlwind ahoy!! Kinda hitting the wall now but every new adventure reinvigorates me! Cruising around limestone cliffs should help too!
One week to go!
