Not much from Perth, as it was my chill out time and chill I did............. I have to confess that I cat napped every afternoon I was there - it was naughty, but very nice !
It was my time to also catch up with relatives and to enjoy some halal meat / chicken dishes - mmmmmm, the beef was tender and very tasty!! Just thought I'd slip that in, as my family have been teasing me about lamb biryani ever since I've left the UK !
I arrived in Perth on Thursday 14 Jan at 1am local time and was picked up by my cousin's family and was in bed by 2am - I was shattered and jetted lagged so slept through to 8am (yep, that was my lie in)!
Friday 15th & Saturday 16th - I spent time visiting other family members and their friends and also managed to squeeze in some sightseeing - we went to Kings Park to see Perth City by day & by night, Fremantle and Mosman Beach.
I was expecting Perth to be a bustling city, but to my surprise it was actually the opposite, it was very quiet. The city is very pretty town and I would have liked to have stayed longer to look around and spend time with my relatives, maybe I'll go back for another visit (my future holiday destination list is growing longer by the day.
That's all from Perth........ I must try to find the time to update my travel from Darwin to Alice Springs soon. We've done and seen so much in the last six days, and I need to capture that in my blog before I confuse myself about what I saw where !
