Had a fantastic weekend, my family organised a "surprise party" for me and it was absolutely great to see them all together before I set off on my travels. My brother and sister-in-law (Aslam & Rukhsana) also flew in from Dubai. Aslam has now returned to Dubai and am looking forward to seeing him in a day's time. Love you all and will miss you, pray that Allah keeps you safe and well whilst I'm away - Khuda Hafiz xxx !

I've finally finished all my packing and the only thing left to do today (Tuesday 3 Nov) is to go for my last two vaccinations and I may treat myself to a back & foot massage later on this afternoon - what else can a girl do with all this time off !!

Wednesday 4th Nov Debbie will be coming over to spend the day with me, before she drops me off at the airport. My BA flight to Dubai will take off from T5 at 21.35 and my long planned journey will begin - see you laters !!!
