Well here we go again. Shanghai has turned on the overcast and drizzly weather for me again!! One day I would like to visit this city and find some sunshine.

The photo is of me and the finance bull on the Bund. The man who created the charging bull statue for Wall Street in New York also created this one.

Anyway, today was the Bund, Pudong, Nanjing Road and the Museum. Mum went on the Maglev (magnetic levitation) train from Pudong to the airport and back again and she is doing a Huangpu River cruise this evening. 431 kilometres per hour is its top speed!! 30km in 8 minutes!! Pretty impressive.

Tomorrow we are off to Yichang by plane, then onto the boat for the cruise up the Yangtze River for 4 days. After we disembark at Chongqing we fly to Xi'an to see the terracotta warriors. One night there and then onto the sleeper train to Beijing. I am not sure when I will have any access to the internet (possibly not until Beijing), but I will try and write something each day and publish the posts when I can.
