Today was going to be a crazy day and we knew it! We set alarms for 7.30 but after how mental yesterday was we got up at 9 and out by ten, not too bad! We failed to eat breakfast; not important when Harrods awaits! We got the tube (god knows which one) to a place that had an array of fancy shops.. First we spotted Topshop, then H and M, and then we saw it... it was like a floating mirage or something! Every shoppers paradise; Harrods, London. We walked in the entrance and Jordan was immediately told to carry her backpack, probably because we looked like a couple of dirty theiving tourists! The place was insane. Not only were there like 7 floors, but Frank Lampard was doing a book signing in the 'Reading Room'. We didn't fancy sticking around for that knowing the mayhem that he would probably cause. We ended up finding the candy section were we both bought the family some sweets. The entire place was so expensive that I bought them sweets that were on sale and they still came to about £10! For sweets! Outrageous!
After walking along looking at things we couldn't afford, we got some lunch in the restuarant bit. We both had a chicken and salad and cheese wrap which was tasty. And some diet cokes so Jords could get her caffeine fix. We felt immediately better and then did some more shopping. I was in a bit of a predicament with regards to shopping which was was awful. As I am going away, there is not point me buying clothes or things I can't use, which was incredibly diffcult. Jordan got some lovely things, especially from H&M, I was mega jel! We then decided to ge the tube to tiffanys as I absolutely love jewellery and had high hopes that this is where I would find my 'present to myself' haha. No such luck. The place was amazing and everyone was very well dressed. I sort of felt a bit like Julia Roberts in Pretty woman :0). Nothing really struck me or Jordan's eye, which was a good thing because the cheapest thing in the shop was £100! Oh well, hopefully a little Tiffanys box comes my way sooner of later!
Tube time! We had planned to head back to the hotel and then we came across this little shop called 'Author'. It was a shoe shop that looked vintagey and awesome and right up Jordan and I's street. We went in and had a browse, and from the other end of the shop I heard Jordan GASP with pure excitment and I knew immediately she had found the shoes she had been looking for. They were beautiful, a little expensive but to be honest I encouraged the purchase because money is money and these shoes were for life I am such an enabler! Just as Jordan was getting her shoes boxed up I saw shoes which I loved and I could take away with my, plus they were orange and with 20% off couldn't say no. Shoes are my vice. We then headed back to our wee nice but s*** but cute hotel and flopped onto the bed surround buy bags of STUFF. It was like the scene from The Great Gatsby where Daisy is surrounded by all the shirts!
We chilled for an hour or so and I went out to the little court yard to see if there was anything going on. When we arrived at the hotel the man behind the desk told us about the 'cheese and wine' evenings from 5-8 in the court yards. Now not once in three days did I see any cheese and wine which was quite sad. We then got changed and ready to go see our play which Jordan kindly bought me for my 21st! What a gal! :) Firstly we had dinner at a place called Navajo Joe's. We had delicious bacon cheese burgers and everything was going smoothy until I kncked some guys beer over with my ass. I was fully preapred to buy him another drink but to be honest his attitude was so s*** about it I just left. The play was excellent, and scary! It was only a two man play and I always find it fascinating how plays like that can hold your attention. Me and Jords were terrified by the end, with the whole Fortune Theater screaming at one point. Now this is where Saturday night got mega exciting. As we were walking back from the show we noticed a massive group of people gathered outside a stage door. Jordan quickly realised that it was the stage door for Daniel Radcliffes play 'The Cripple of an Inishmaan'. My heart nearly dropped, we were staying put! Various actors excited the stage door one by one and they got a relatively small cheer. After about 20 minutes the door opened and the place went mental. Now me and Jordan are pretty short so sadly we didn't see him all to well, but I got a photo of the back of his head and his tweed jacket. Enough for me! This trip seemed to be turning into an opportunity to do all things Potter related; I swear it wasn't intended that way!
We then tried to meet up with Hannah, another bessie of ours, but the Northern line was being arsey so we would have to wait to tomorrow! It was nice having a wee phone call with her knowing she was so close by. I miss her now that she lives in London! But it such a cool place I can see why she does :) We had plans to head home but we spotted M&M WORLD omg. Fantastic. After wading our way through the endless sea of club promoters we eventually made it inside. Four floors of chocolate heaven. After being to the M&M world in New York, this one was oddly similar, if not better! Everyone was so friendly too and one worker even jumped into me and Jordan's picture! She was lovely. We got some sweets for our families and then headed home. We got into the hotel completely busted from the past two days. We got changed in our shoe box and crawled into bed. Last night I accidently turned the heating on to 20 degrees in the room so I double checked that today I kept it off! We watched some sky in the room and then faded. The hilarity that our room had a plamsa screen and Sky TV but no window was too much to handle :D
SLEEP.
