Of course the night I spend projectile vomiting is the night before I have to get a bus to another town. It's my own fault though and I deserve everything I feel today! I woke up and packed my stuff with my head half hanging off. Becky just laughed at me. Helpful gal. We threw our bags in the lounge and I took refuge in the tv room. Our bus wasn't to two so we lay around and Alan and Becky ordered food while I remained in the foetal position trying not to move. As if this morning couldn't get any worse, we just got the news about the plane crash in Laos with apparently no survivors. It was an internal flight which was leaving from the place we were just in so we are still praying that no one we knew was In it. It's still a horrendous thing and to be honest I was just happy in that moment that I have a fear of flying and make us take the bus everywhere. Lou, the girl from lurgan was flying to Bangkok that night with the same airline and I think she was having a panic attack. I would be too.
Two o'clock came and we loaded our bags onto the tuk tuk and headed to the bus. When we arrived it was a typical short journey Bus. About the size of a cardboard box but loaded with 30 people. The window also fell off so the first half an hour was spent watching 10 Asians trying to weld a window back together with superglue and tape. The bus journey to vang vien was grand and only about three hours. I actually love bus journeys because I stick my headphones in and just think about everything and anything while looking out at the scenery of the new place. We arrived three hours later and checked into villa viang as the welsh girls were there and recommended it. We were starving so found and Irish bar to have some food. I had chicken and peopercorn sauce with mash and it was tasty! I really enjoyed it and Becky had steak and ale pie. Traditional Laos cuisine! Haha. We chatted with the girls about 'tubing' which we were going to do tomorrow and they give us tips on keeping our valuables dry etc. after food we headed back to the hostel and hit the hay.
