This three day trip included alot of driving along the Stuart Highway and not many stops on the way. We did stop at Devil Marbles, which are huge boulders on the landscape and is an aboriginal cultural area. walked around some of the area, as the boulders and rocks are spread out for quite some way. Tonight we stayed at a cattle station and watched a slide show about the running of the station which was quite interesting as its all completely different to farming...

i had two spare days in Alice Springs. It is a small city so didnt take long to walk around. I bought some aboriginal art and went to the cultural precint to look around the art gallery. This had local aboriginal artists work in and some were really good but really pricey! I went to the flying doctors centre to see how this all works and how essential it is for the surrounding area as there is no other way a doctor can arrive or the patient get taken to hospital ...

Up early again this morning in order to have time to walk around Kings Canyon. Chose to do the 3 hour hike around the canyon with the majority of the poeple on my tour. The next morning we were up really really early in order to watch the sunrise at Uluru.  Instead of watching it from the sunrise viewing area we all decided to do the 3 hour (9km) base walk around Uluru.
