Left Darwin today with my friend Fran i met in Berri and 8 others to start work on a mango farm at Berry Springs. None of us knew what to expect, we felt lucky that it wa sonly a 40 minute drive to our farm. Berry Springs consists of two petrol stations, a wildllife park, a school and the actually springs. When we got to farm there were various tents and caravans next to the house and thought we would be sleeping in them. Luckily inside there house were some bedrooms where our little group would be living. After finding out who was picking and packing (im packing) we had lunch (all meals are provided for us) and as it was too hot to sit outside we sat inside getting to knoe everyone and watched a film. At dinner Tou and her husband talked to us about the house rules etc. Early night as have to start work at 8am.
