Perhaps the best thing about Trinidad is that it's only a short flight or ferry ride over to Tobago! I was there last October when my mum came out to visit, because I felt so bad about making her fly out to somewhere like Trinidad to see me! Tobago is a lot more like the rest of the Carribean, beautiful beaches, the people seem a lot friendlier and it is a lot safer. I was only there for a couple of days so I haven't seen too much of the island, but definitely liked what I saw :)
