'Debbie and Max's Travels'
We stayed for three nights in San Francisco, two of which were spent at the pink castle house owned by Dennis Peron.
The house was in Castro, the gay district, really great area that is virtually crime free. Dennis ran for Govenor of California in 1998 to legalize cannabis for medical use, he didn't win but passed proposition 215, which did legalize medical cannabis use. We met him last year in London at the cannabis march.
The house was a great place to stay, loads of different people coming in and out of the house, nearly all of them gay men and they were all really friendly.
We attempted to see the Golden Gate bridge about three times but with all the fog only managed to see the bottom of it.
We also went down to pier 39 and saw sealions and alcatraz. Oh and Heather will like this, we went to Bubba Gumps for lunch (there a pic of me next to forest)
