Hi everyone, this is our first blog only 3 days after w have left but we have lots to tell! Tis Deb updating the blog today, with danielle here in the background as they have been unable to find another computer that works out of 7 in this shop!Thanks for the messages, we are chuffed our site has been looked at cos we havent been on up to now.

Well, Mumbai...the noisiest place in the world. We endured our first cons - making the mistake of ordering a 'cool cab' for an extra few quid assuming it would have air con, but actually they just rolled down the windows. It was NOT cool and actually had a sticker inside saying 'cool cab, ironic taxis' would you believe the cheek of it! Also a man carried our bags about 1 metre to the taxi and then asked for 5 euro!! cheeky monkey. the minute we got into mumbai we were asked to be in a bollywood movie, which we declined, but we saw a boy today who actually did it and met jesse metcalfe (from desperate housewifes how cool!). We actually went to see a bollywood film which was really funny and you could actually follow the story. We all stood for the indian national anthem too - think we were the only non indians in there and it was a massive theatre. Also, we got a taxi to our hotel and our driver was pulled over by the police for some kind of check, and left us in the cab for about 20 minutes where we were surrounded by an entire roadside indian family shouting 'hello chocolate hello chocolate hello chocolate' again and again. Nightmare!!

Also we met our travel dopplegangers, two irish boys who set out the same day for a year trip and were even on our flight - many kingfishers were drank to celebrate. So now for the culture stuff, we visited the gateway of india and chowpatti beach, but mainly we just sat around being hot and eating food, can't believe this is their winter.

We are now in Goa in Palolem after a 12 hour overnight train with no air con which we are still to traumatised to talk about haha. Hope to hear from you all soon, its great getting your messages. Byeeeeee Byeeeeeee x x x x
