Today I had a great day, I went on a full day trip out of Chiang Mai. I firstly went to the Long Neck Karen Tribe. While I was there I brought a wide hat, which is a bit like a cowboy hat and i couldn't believe how much it was. It cost me only 150 B which is equal to $5 Australian.
We then went to the orchard and butterfly farm where we saw orchard flowering but there weren't to many butterfly.
I then went on a ride on an elephant which was just fantastic. I feed the elephant some bananas and rode on bareback on top of it's head. We did a river crossing on the elephant. We then went for a buffer lunch which considered of Thai food. We then went to a waterfall, but didn't go swimming as I felt it was a bit cool to do it.
We then bamboo rafting down a river before we returned to Chiang Mai.
The cost for the trip was about $23 Australian.
Tonight I took my host out to dinner to a nice Thai restaurant, and it was an enjoyable night for all.
