Today we continued to explore of the Naxi tribes which lived in the hills above Lijiang. On top of the hills we saw more beautiful view of the valley of Lijiang and the Dragon Snow Mountain. We had lunch cooked by the local. The cost was 30 yeun for the car and driver and 30 yuen for lunch.

Today I went on a tour visiting the tribes in the Lijiang area. The way the lives is totally different from the western cultural as some of the way they lives go back many years as they use agricultural and transport that is not seen in Western Culture. The tribe that we visit are part of the Naxi tribe. We visit a house where we were invited for lunch. The meal consisted of pork blood rice, pork blood mixed with some form of flour, cabbage vegetable, cabbag...

Today I went on a tour to the Jade Mountain Snow Mountain hoping to see the snow. When we got there we found out that only one of the three cable car was operation due to strong gusty wind. We decided to go up in the first cable car and glad we did. It was just beautiful scenery as we got closer to the snow and the area we were able to go was lovely despite it being cold. We were not able to get to the snow area.

Today I went on a tour to see the Leaping Tiger Gorge and it just was wonderful. I have never seen anything like it. It was just magnificent and beautiful. We had to walk down a steep cliff to get to the base of the cliff and I just don't know how I managed to get up again. I came back via the ladder and I felt that it was easier to do that than trying to walk up the walking track. It was so much easier going up the ladder that I got back before many people retur...

Today I moved from the hotel to the hostel. The people at the hotel did not want me to leave and offered me to stay another night for 80 Y. I declined the offer saying that I just found out a friend was in town and wanted to stay with them. I went to the Garden Inn in the old town of Lijiang and it was a beautiful area. I had a short walk around the old town but had the rest of the day at pleasure.
