Today I moved from the hotel to the hostel. The people at the hotel did not want me to leave and offered me to stay another night for 80 Y. I declined the offer saying that I just found out a friend was in town and wanted to stay with them.

I went to the Garden Inn in the old town of Lijiang and it was a beautiful area. I had a short walk around the old town but had the rest of the day at pleasure.
