Today I went on a cruise down the Li River to Yangzhou. Despite today begin a foggy day the scenery was very pretty. I am sure if I went on a clearer day it would be much more prettier. Today the weather was very cold. I believe the top of 7 C was recorded today. I was feeling cold as I am not used to the weather comparing to tropical Darwin. I went on a self tour of Guilin using the map provided by the hostel. I first went to the Reed Flute Cave, where the cave had colorful lights display showing the different formation in the cave. Today I treat myself my going to a Hot Springs for the day. It was lovely going there. It cost me 118 yuen ($17 Aust) for the treat. This evening I flew to Guilin. The cost of the airfare was $720 ($108 Aust).

Arrived in Kunming at 7.10 and then went to the hostel where I stayed for the night. I then went exploring around Kunming visiting the Flowers and Birds Markets, however I didn't see to many of them. I then went to the Green Lake and then to lunch. On my way back to the hostel I saw some blind massagers out on the street and I got a full body massage for 60 yeun ($10 Aust).

Today I took a rest day while waiting for a train to take me to Kunming tonight. I travelled in the hard sleeper cabin and it was comfortable to sleep in. The train was huge. The cabin looked like a truck as it was a double decker train with the sleeper divided into cabins with 4 bucks each. The train departed Lijiang at 10.20 pm
