BARCELONA

Arrived in Barcelona yesterday at about 7pm after a day of travelling from Marseille. On sunday night for our last night we decided to go and watch the Marseille v Lens game at Stade Velodrome. Paid €35 each for the tickets and to be honest the match was s***e, but the crowd was class singing at each other from opposite ends of the stadium. They won 1-0 thanks to Zenden (best player on the pitch). We took in the french culture and bought a Marseille scarf and some of them inflatable noisy stick things then afterwards got a hot dog in a baguette of course.

Last night we went straight out to watch the toon game in a sports bar and were very pleased with the result. Ended up getting drunk because the table service was so friendly so we couldn´t say no, we even tipped them!! Woke everyone in our dorm up when we got back making a drunken racket and trying to charge joe´s phone (which isn´t as easy as it sounds). We had planned to do a walking tour of the city today but the hangover ruled and we stayed in bed until about 12pm. Although we have done something today...oh yes we went to the Nou Camp. Its massive took plenty of photo´s and well worth the money to get in. We were gonna go Ice skating today aswell and do some Blades of Glory type manouveres but found a cosy patch of grass and had a power nap on that instead cos its really warm here....maybe ice skate tomorrow. Tonight we are doing a pubcrawl so another drunken night is planned and no doubt wake the people in our dorm up again! If we can get up for 10am tomorrow we will do the walking tour but if not we can just do it ourself with a map to hand.

Heading for Paris this thursday so another full day of travelling and waiting in stations ahead.
