Hi Guys,
Day 4 wasn't as nice weather wise, but still better than back home as I here you all got snow! Cloudy and windy here, but still warm enough to wear shorts and t-shirt.
Thursday we went on a Coastal walk from Bondi to Coogee, something that Rusty had told me we had to do, and he was right. Bondi beach is weird as it reminded me of Fistral Beach back in Newquay, but the surf looked alot better. The walk was beautiful with all these different rock formations, I would have been alot nicer though in bright sunshine. Towards the end of the walk you go through this cemetary where there are these massive family vaults, which is just creepy. At the end of the walk we had a massive BBQ and beers while we attenpted to play beach volley ball.
Day 3 Friday 9th Jan Blue Mountains
Again the weather wasn't bright sunshine, but still fairly nice. Today we havd a trip to the Blue Mountains with a tour guide called "Scooter" who was a really funny bloke. Firstly we went to a park where we saw real life wild Kangaroos. Then we went to Wentworth Falls. Its this amazing waterfall, not quite Niagra but its the best I've ever seen. Scooter also showed us how the Aboriginals use the rocks in the mountains to make the paint they use on their faces. After lunch we went to the '3 sisters' and walked down over 1000 steps to see the 3 sisters, an other waterfall that looked like Donkey Kong and an old mine shaft, before we went back up on this train. Oh My God! This train was scary, apparently it was used to take the coal up the mountain and the miners walked up. And I know why they walked up. The track is so steep it was almost vertical and your not strapped in and theres no doors!!!
It was a great day today, enjoyed every momnet of it, and hopefully i'll work out how to upload photos soon so you can also see what i've been up to!
