Day 2, Tues 6th Jan.

We spent the day in the city, took a ferry round the harbour and saw some amazing sights of other parts of the city, I didn't realise how big the harbour is and how much water is in Sydney. Today it was HOT HOT HOT, about 35, I can't get my head round it, its January. Then we went to World life or something, where we saw spiders, snakes, Kangaroos and other Azzie animals that hopefully we will see in the wild some time in the next 6 months.

In the evening we went out into the city and met up with, Minty and Fern! How weird is that to go all this way round the world and meet up with people from Northampton!!! We went to this German bar where we had beer from Massive 1 Litre tankards.

day 3 Wed 7th Jan

Spent the day surfing on a Private(ish) beach. The surf instructors were the stereotypical Aussie surfers. Had a great day surfing, lots of sun, loads of people with sun burn and again really hot. Finished the day off nicely with fish and chips on the beach front with a couple of beers!
