It is the last day of my week at the school in Cape Town and it has been an amazing experience. The school I am based in is the Redhill Pre School in Redhill Township. A township is a shanty town and the kids there don't get the same start in life that the rest of us get, so the school is supported by volunteers and projects that pay for the meals and the teachers wages. Well, it's 2 days now until I go to Cape Town to start my volunteering and I am a mixture of nerves and excitement. It has just dawned on me that I have never taught at a school in my life, what I am thinking going to Cape Town to do it?!!!
