Leila So pleased to see that food is still a high priority in your daily plans. Pancakes and meals at restaurants......can't be too bad. Weather here is pretty dire too. Lots of rain and not too much of the warm sunny stuff. Great news that your got your phone and money back - one less thing to worry about. Kids are off to Norfolk for their second stay at the Barn on monday which means that I can go to work and earn some money! We will be 'Barn sitting' from the 27th so if you are back and around that week it would be good to catch up in person to hear all about your travels. Lots of love. xxxxxxxxx

Bill Read Hi. Great to hear from you both again and about your latest adventure. Great news about getting your mobile back. Although times of buses etc. leave a bit to be desired, I'm sure you both made the most of it and enjoyed all the wildlife you saw. The Hotel you stayed in doesn't quite sound 5 star. Had the boys yesterday and they were great. Suzie is coming to stay with us on Friday and Saturday, and as we had planned to got to the allotment on Friday, she would like to see it as well. Carry on enjoying the rest of your African experience, and we look forward to hearing all about it when you come home. Love to you both. Mum & Dad/Grandad

Leila Dawn. So glad to hear that things are looking up for you. The market sounds like fun as does your explorations of Tamale. Think you made a wise decision to book flight back to Accra especially as you will have another long flight back to the UK so swollen ankles are best avoided at all costs! xxx
tina Hey Dawn, looks like you've been having some adventures. Let me know when you are back, would be great to catch up and hear more about it. Lots of love, Tina.

re: Tamale, GhanaLisa Hi Hun, Just been catching up on your full blog. it all sounds like an amazing experience but very heart wrenching, I do wonder if all the orphanges are like that or just whre you have been. I honestly don;t know what I would say or do, i agree that the culture is different but to simply regard the basics of being loving and caring that cost nothing is unreal. The children must love you guys and wish you were there for good! Can;t wait to speak to you when you are back and see you next week. big kisses from me and sam xxxxx

re: Tamale, GhanaTerri & Paul oh god dawn!!! i've got a lump in my throat just reading about it! how can people treat children like that, if only the women showed them some love the rest wouldn't be half as bad, at least you'd know they were getting the love and attention. I REALLY hope they take notice of your email and that things start to improve. Try not to let the children pick up on any sadness, they're very good at that! just do what you do with Joshua and Harvey and they'll love you. I'd quite happily send a pack of nappies a week, if i knew it went to the children and made it better for them. i know 1 pack wouldn't last long at all!!! Dawn i ask you now, bring them home with you!!! i'd look after them :( Leila is absolutely right, just you being there is making it better for them( althought she's wrong about not bringing them home lol). i'm soooo proud of you, i couldn't do it i'd be crying every day and would def bring them home with me. Love you loads xxxxx
