I slept in this morning and after brekky was picked up at 10:30 by my new colleage PJ. We went to PJ and Elaine's place had coffee & cake. I also had a lovely time with their 8 month old Siofra (She-fra). Around noon we went to mass at St Gabriel's Church (it was a family service).

After church we drove into the Irish country-side to Glendalough (stands for valley of the 2 lakes). We had a light lunch at the hotel there and then had a nice 3km round trip walking to the lower and upper lakes. I managed to get a few piccies before the light went.

Then we drove back and I had a lovely dinner of Irish stew (made with Guinness) and some very drinkable red wine - with a delightful dessert and coffee to finish. PJ and I did a spot of shopping before he dropped me home. What a day - I am so appreciative of PJ and Elaine's hospitality.
