Wow!!! ..now that was an experience and a half... 35 hours in and out Airports all the way to Colombia, South America with only a few hours sleep. Was it worth it??.. you betcha it was. Arrived in the final destination of Barranquilla Colombia and met Maria for the first time... I walked out the customs doors and there she was... i wont give too much away except to say very pleasantly surprised... thank god she was there.. went to hire the car and found the Spanish to be a little different to the learn Spanish app on my phone...hahaha. With Maria there it was a breeze and found ourselves on our way within 20 min.

WTF!!!...Bloody GPS i downloaded not working... spent the next 40min navigating through the traffic and trying to read the map with Marias help to get to her place... finally get there and was about to throw my phone at the wall... why wasn't it working?... had lunch with Maria parents and then left to get the hotel and start to settle in ...Got my new mobile number, got an upgrade on the hotel free of charge ( don't you just love when that happens)... great hotel by the way..."PUERTA DEL SOL" in Barranquilla... check it out online...they even speak English...got straight online to abuse the makers of the GPS app… after reading the instructions ….ummmm what an idiot I am… maybe if I had of turned on the location activation for the app it would have worked from the start….anyway all fine now

Got back to Marias parents house and was asked to go to a small birthday party a couple of doors down ..(Could feel jet lag getting worse but told myself to suck it up and go... so glad i did)... have uploaded a video on this one... Great people who know how to party and live life... thank you guys cant wait for Saturday night BBQ... anyway after a couple of beers and a few shots of the Chivars Regal... I hit the wall.... There was no way i could drive (they have a zero drink policy here)... They gave me a lift to the hotel and went straight to bed....mmmmm sleep
