Got up at 8:00am and rang home. Breakfast at nine then walked to end of street (6th avenue) 100m to Smithsonian Institute - NAtional Pace and Aviation. Looked at Lunar Capsule Apollo 11, Aircraft, Moon stuff etc very interesting. Then caught train to Gridiron. MAnaged toget tickets off scalpers $75 each (Paul, John and I were lucky we got$100 tickets in Members area level 2 and shady) Very over the top and razza matazz. Arrived Dulles Airport Washington @10:30pm some 36 hours after we left. Very tired not much if any sleep on planes. Up at 9:00am breakfast and then off at 10:00am for sightseeing walk. Caught train to Arlington Cemetery, saw JFK's grave, Eternal Flame, TOmb of the Unknown soldier etc, then caught train back to Foggy Bottom, (George Washington Uni) and walked to Lincoln Memorial, truely outstanding. Then walked along to Vietnam Memorial, Korean Memorial and WW2 ...
